Jnr Beginners Course

We will be running  jnr beginners course which will be run on the following dates in the easter  and summer holidays for 10 to 16 year olds:

 What’s all this about a Beginners Course….??

  • Aim4sport runs beginners courses lead by Qualified Archery Coaches throughout the year.
  • The course is a recognised Archery GB course and a certificate will be issued to those who pass all the safety requirements.
  • Once completed the certificate can be presented to any archery club as proof that you have met the requirements for shooting safely, and if you meet all of the club’s criteria, may will be eligible to join.

What size are the Classes and how long will the course run….??

  • Our Classes are small and we feel this makes you feel as though you are receiving quality instruction, and also allows you to take on board the information at your own pace. The course gives the new archer not only basic instructions but some coaching hints too.  This is the reason we have restricted the numbers to 6….
  • The April course will be held over four two hour structured lessons with one lesson each day. A fourth lesson is given with minimal instruction so you can put your new skills to the test. You will need to be able to attend the four sessions of the course to receive your certificate…
  • The July course will be held over five one 1/2 hour structured lessons with one lesson each day. A fifth lesson is given with minimal instruction so you can put your new skills to the test. You will need to be able to attend the five sessions of the course to receive your certificate…
